Remarks 'Goret' from Old French 'gore', i.e., sow (an adult female swine), with an onomatopoeic origin after 'a cry for help' (p. 347 in Ref. 9404); 'mule', i.e., bedroom slipper, from Latin 'mulleus (calceus), mullus', i.e., red slipper or referring to reddish color (p. 482 in Ref. 9404).
