Remarks | Fishers say that well-developed eggs are found in kemedukl from the first to the ninth day of the lunar month. Spawning is likely to occur on the eight and ninth day, probably after sunset. According to Ngiraklang who is known to be a knowledgeable fisherman, spawning aggregations start appearing near the inner entrance to the barrier reef channel near Ngeremlengui on the eighth day of the lunar month (Ref. 2928).
