Remarks Occur in inshore waters of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154). Juveniles feed mainly on zooplankton (Ref. 13441), dominated by calanoid copepods (Ref. 57343). Copepods became less important dietary item at size of 5.0 to 5.9 cm FL (Ref. 57343).
