 Family:  Aspredinidae (Banjo catfishes), subfamily: Bunocephalinae
 Max. size:  1.97 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  South America: upper Orinoco River basin, including the Sipapo, Ramoni and Casiquiare rivers.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits edges of clear, tannin stained rivers in flooded plants, primarily grasses and sedges.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
