 Family:  Scyliorhinidae (Cat sharks)
 Max. size:  26 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range - 1041 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: known only from the type locality, the Andaman Sea. Reported from India (Ref. 45255).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Known only from the holotype. Maximum length presumably comes from an immature specimen. Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Not utilized at present.
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
