 Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 5 - 666 m
 Distribution:  Southern Ocean: Antarctic Peninsula, South Shetland Islands, South Orkney Islands and East Antarctica (Ross Sea, South Victoria Land, MacRobertson Land, Weddell Sea, Queen Maud Land, Enderby Land, Wilkes Land, Graham Land).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Sublittoral and on continental shelf from 5-666 m. Main food: amphipods and polychaetes (Ref. 5181).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
