 Family:  Cottidae (Sculpins)
 Max. size:  7.6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 5 - 50 m
 Distribution:  Northeast Pacific: southeastern Alaska northern Washington as San Juan Islands.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-17; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 13-17; Vertebrae: 33-35. Olive brown dorsally, lighter ventrally; 4 dark saddles; brown bars on pectoral and caudal fins (Ref. 43939).
 Biology:  Found on sand and shell bottoms near rocky outcrops (Ref. 43939).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
