 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range - 49 m
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known from a single specimen collected off southwestern New Caledonia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 0-0
 Biology:  A rare inshore catshark found on coral reefs (Ref. 11146).
 IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (B1ab(iii)) (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
