 Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed); 14 cm TL (female)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to Lake Malawi.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in shallow sandy areas. Feed on small invertebrates which live in the sand (Ref. 5595).
