 Max. size:  3.358 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic; depth range 0 - 1 m
 Distribution:  South America: Atrato River basin.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal soft rays: 31-35; Vertebrae: 32-34. Absence of a peduncular spot but presence of a dark band on the midcaudal rays; 27 to 30 branched anal fin rays (Ref. 40518).
 Biology: 
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
