 Family:  Mugilidae (Mullets)
 Max. size:  32.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 0 - 5 m, catadromous
 Distribution:  Asia: Celebes, New Caledonia, New Hebrides, and Fiji. Also from Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands (Ref. 96268).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Very little available data. Possibly ascending some way up rivers. Probably taken incidentally or as part of subsistence fisheries in rivers. Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
