 Family:  Lebiasinidae (Pencilfishes), subfamily: Pyrrhulininae
 Max. size:  4.54 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  South America: Venezuela and Brazil.
 Diagnosis:  Absence of a broad dark longitudinal band and a pale line. Presence of five or six rows of red spots on the flanks, pale in alcohol. Absence of a spot on ventral rays on caudal fin (Ref. 77043).
 Biology:
