 Max. size:  15.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  South America: Amazon River basin, in the Napo and Putumayo drainages in Ecuador, in the Ucayali-Amazon drainage from Chicosa to Pebas in Peru, and upper Purus basin.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in shallow, quiet waters associated with abundant aquatic and shoreline vegetation (Ref. 9088).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
