 Family:  Chaenopsidae (Pike-, tube- and flagblennies)
 Max. size:  3.8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated
 Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: known only from Bahía de Charagato, Cubagua Island, Venezuela.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 21-21; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-13; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 22-24
 Biology:  Occurs in shallow waters, forming schools during the day, usually over rocks and coral formations. Feeds on zooplankton.
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
