 Family:  Emmelichthyidae (Rovers)
 Max. size:  30 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 100 - 200 m, oceanodromous
 Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: St. Helena Island. Western Central Atlantic: Bermuda and Jamaica.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in the vicinity of oceanic islands (Ref. 6945). Adults occur near the bottom in depths of 100 to 200 m; young are found near the surface. Feeds on larger zooplankton (Ref. 3611).
