 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: south Taiwan to Rapa; Belau, Fais Atoll, Guam, and Saipan in Micronesia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-8
 Biology:  Inhabits tide pools of exposed seaward reefs (Ref. 37816).
