 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  6.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 13 - 21 m
 Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf, Oman, and southwest India.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Caudal fin rounded, shorter than head.
 Biology:  Found on rock and sand bottom (Ref. 11441). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
