 Max. size:  8.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Africa: Lake Victoria.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs in shallow water over a exposed sandy beach (Ref. 4983). Remains of Diptera and Ephemeroptera larvae (together with many fine sand grains) were found in the intestines of the two specimens which were examined (Ref. 558).
 IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (D2) (Ref. 96402)
