 Family:  Congridae (Conger and garden eels), subfamily: Heterocongrinae
 Max. size:  70 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 10 - 30 m, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Galapagos Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits clean sand. Found in large colonies. Feeds on plankton.
