Description: Characterized by bright yellow body color except white ventrally; blue stripe above eye; upper gill cover with conspicuous black spot; preopercular serrae 30.44; greatest depth of body 4.9-5.0 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
Found near coastal reefs. Hovers above it's burrow in flat soft silty bottoms (Ref. 9710). Usually in pairs (Ref. 48635). |
