 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Kuril-Kamchatka Trench.
 Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 136-136. Head short, 10.2% TL. Body elongated, depth 3.3% TL. Preanal distance 25% TL. Snout length 43.7% HL. Seismosensory system of the head with interorbital commissure having 1 pore, postorbital canal with 4, and occipital commissure with 1 at the center.
 Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
