 Environment:  demersal; depth range 0 - 1 m
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Kuril Archipelago.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-15; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 11-13; Vertebrae: 33-35. Three pairs of distinct bony tubercles on dorsal surface of occiput; first pore of supraorbital sensory canal (SO1 absent; interorbital space deeply concave (Ref. 49856).
 Biology:  Collected from tide pools with sandy bottom (Ref. 49856).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
