 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 163 - 460 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic. North of St. Helena Island.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 108-116; Anal soft rays: 89-92; Vertebrae: 48-50. Blackish upper half of the pectoral fin. Body depth 2.58-2.77 in SL. Pectoral fin length on the ocular side 1.34-1.59 in HL (Ref. 37941).
 Biology:
