 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 235 - 1570 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: off West Africa.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Common species (Ref. 34024). Usually found on the continental shelf (Ref. 3686). Oviparous (Ref. 3686). Oval, pelagic eggs float in a gelatinous mass (Ref. 205).
