 Family:  Sisoridae (Sisorid catfishes), subfamily: Glyptosterninae
 Max. size:  8.36 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Asia: upper Irrawaddy and Salween (Nu Jiang) river drainages in northern Myanmar and southwestern China.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal soft rays: 3-4. Lower lip with a median notch and having an entire posterior margin. Caudal fin emarginate. Male genital papilla immediately behind the anus in a depression terminating posteriorly with a straight transverse wall (Ref. 44353).
 Biology:
