 Max. size:  19.9 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 97.1 g
 Environment:  benthopelagic
 Distribution:  Asia: Laos, northern Viet Nam and southern China.
 Diagnosis:  Presence of dark mid-lateral stripe from gill opening to caudal base, usually not very contrasted; in adults, faintly distinct only on posterior half of body; 10-11 branched dorsal rays; caudal fin greyish; no tubercle at tip of snout (Ref. 43281).
