 Family:  Apogonidae (Cardinalfishes), subfamily: Apogoninae
 Max. size:  9.59 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 10 - 25 m
 Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Lord Howe and Norfolk islands and Middleton Reef in the northern Tasman Sea, Kenn Reef (Coral Sea), and at the Capricornian Group on the southern Great Barrier Reef.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Benthic species which inhabits coral reef (Ref. 75154).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
