 Max. size:  17 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal, amphidromous
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Transkei northwards, Zanzibar, Madagascar to tropical West Pacific (Ref. 4343). Found in the Mekong delta (Ref. 12693).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs inshore, enters rivers and lagoons (Ref. 4343).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
