 Family:  Scyliorhinidae (Cat sharks)
 Max. size:  45 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 670 - 1500 m
 Distribution:  Southwest in the Indian Ocea, Madagascar and the Pacific, New Zealand.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  A rare and poorly known species inhabiting the lower continental slope (Ref. 26346).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
