 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  4.19 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 1 - 10 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Isla de la Juventud off Cuba, Puerto Rico (Ref. 26938) and Brazil (Ref. 40101).
 Diagnosis:  Body pale with 5 diffuse blotches on side; pectoral fin very long reaching to below 7th or 8th dorsal ray.
 Biology:  Inhabits areas with leaf, shell and organic debris (Ref. 92840).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
