 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  2.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 2 - 28 m
 Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: East Africa to Samoa.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-9. SL to 17 mm. Lower portion of gill arch bound to cover (Ref. 1602); characterized by semi-transparent reddish to greyish or bluish color; longitudinal scale series 21-25; scaleless head and nape; depth of body at anus 4.7-7.1 in SL (Ref. 90102).
 Biology:  A very small goby that lives on soft corals (Ref. 1602). Depth range in 2-28 m (Ref 90102).
