 Max. size: 
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 183 - 457 m
 Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Zanzibar (Tanzania) and Saya de Malha Bank.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 60-64; Anal soft rays: 50-54. Body with without bands nor spots; no black spot on the end of pectoral fin of ocular side. Pectoral fin rays 10-11. Head length, 2.2-2.4 times the fin length (Ref. 41434).
 Biology:
