 Max. size:  21 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 430 - 1120 m
 Distribution:  Southern Ocean: east Antarctica (Davis Sea, Ross Sea, Weddell Sea), South Shetland Islands and South Orkney Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Feeds on isopods, gammaridean amphipods, octopods, polychaetes and mysids.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
