 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 1180 - 3500 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Gulf of Mexico (Ref. 26282) and the Gulf of Panama (Ref. 34024).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Uncommon species (Ref. 34024). Oviparous, with oval pelagic eggs floating in a gelatinous mass (Ref. 205).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
