 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  5.59 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 1 - 26 m, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: appears to be endemic to Hawaii.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Inhabits shoreline waters at depths over 6 m (Ref. 3921). Benthic in reefs and coral rubble (Ref. 58302).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
