 Max. size:  4.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 309 - 2030 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Mexico and USA.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 38-38; Vertebrae: 42-43. Body pale, stomach partly pigmented; cardiac region dark, blackish brown. Coronal pore present. Gill opening insertion low, its dorsal end on horizontal with mid-suborbital space. Gill rakers unmodified. Pyloric caeca padlike, pale like the pyloric region (Ref. 43481).
