 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 0 - 4000 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Isla Guadalupe, Mexico.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 38-38; Vertebrae: 43-43. Skin entirely light gray, including part of body; head beneath skin pale. Coronal pore present. Mouth 50-60° to horizontal. Gill rakers unmodified (Ref. 43481).
