 Family:  Bathydraconidae (Antarctic dragonfishes)
 Max. size:  20 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 60 - 345 m
 Distribution:  Southern Ocean: endemic to the insular shelf of South Georgia.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Spawns apparently during autumn and early winter; hatching probably during winter (Ref. 5192). Synchronous spawner (Ref. 50743).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
