 Max. size:  4.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range - 73 m
 Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Known from one specimen taken in the northern Gulf of Oman. Closely related to Stalix flavida from northwestern Australia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 11-11. Caudal fin rounded.
 Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
