 Family:  Agonidae (Poachers), subfamily: Brachyopsinae
 Max. size:  16 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 5 - 75 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia, Canada to northern central Baja California, Mexico.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 9-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Caudal fin rounded. Pelvic fins reduced.
 Biology:  Inhabits mud or sand bottom.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
