 Family:  Platycephalidae (Flatheads)
 Max. size:  16.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range - 100 m
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: southern Japan and East China Sea to Taiwan.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in semi-enclosed sea areas, down to 100 m in sandy mud bottom (Ref. 11230).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
