 Max. size:  15 cm NG (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; pH range: 6.5 - 7.5; dH range: 12
 Distribution:  Asia: India, Myanmar and central Thailand (Ref. 4832). Recorded from the Mekong basin (Ref. 12975).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found in clear mountain streams (Ref. 41236). Occurs in medium to large-sized rivers (Ref. 12975).
 IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
