 Family:  Mochokidae (Squeakers or upside-down catfishes)
 Max. size:  6.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic,
 Distribution:  Africa: only known from the type locality, Banzyville on the Ubangi River (Middle Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 78218, 82238). Other reports of this species are doubtful (Ref. 78218).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 205).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
