 Family:  Urolophidae (Round rays)
 Max. size:  70 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range - 50 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to Australia.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs on the continental shelf and inshore waters (Ref. 7300, 75154). Found partly covered with sand near seagrass beds (Ref. 6871).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
