 Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to the western shores of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Lake Tanganyika).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Adults are found in aggregation (Ref. 86760). Females brood their young in the mouth (Ref. 86760).
