Definition of Term

incurrent apertures
(english) The anterior and ventrally facing openings of the nostrils, which direct water into the nasal cavities. These are usually lateral on the nostrils and anterolateral to the excurrent apertures, but may be anterior to the excurrent apertures only. (See also: excurrent apertures, nostril)
