The South Brazil Current LME, defined as the area influenced by the current for which it is named, lies off the southeast coast of Brazil. The LME is controlled mostly by shelf topography, in some places up to 220 km wide (http://www.na.nmfs.gov/lme/text/lme15.htm). |
