Joann is a Research Analyst at FIN handling events coordination, public relations and communications-related tasks which include managing and/or maintenance of the FIN and FishBase’s email accounts, FB Facebook page, FB Twitter account, FB Fish Forum and FB Guestbook, dissemination of scientific news related and relevant to FishBase and SeaLifeBase, production of IEC materials, and participation in the continuous development and updating of the FIN and FishBase websites. She was in charge of the Seafood Guide table (2010-2011), helped enter data and picture files in the PicturesMain table (2007), and assisted in encoding and analysis of the FishBase User Needs Survey (2005). Joann also handles FIN’s contributions to EU BON’s Internal Communication Platform (ICP) and in the past, has worked on/contributed to other web development projects such as for HighARCS, EcoKNOWS, IncoFISH, and the Eels project. |
