Short description

Dorsal spines (total): 11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 26-31; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 7; Vertebrae: 23. Body whitish when fresh. Oblique rows of dark dots above lateral line. Length of longest gill raker usually 12 or less (mostly 10) in HL (Ref. 41299).
