Western Indian Ocean: in the Persian Gulf off Jana Island. Recorded from Bird Island, Seychelles (Ref. 10685).

Longitudinal series, 31 scales. Convex interorbital space.
Known only from the holotype which was collected at the base of a drop-off in 15 m.
